A general view of the area shot from the top of the portal of the Tunnel 25 – looking towards Khandala. The well heeled have fabulous houses in this area – the one in the picture is built right on top of Tunnel 25C ! One can see the well protecting the ventilation shaft of the Tunnel 25C.
One can see the Walvan dam pipelines in the distance. Later, we exited this area to reach the railway line by walking down the slope you can see along the front of the yellow house’s wall. The profusion of trees near us marks the path of the water steam as it heads for the edge of the mountain.
