The approaching train is the Tirunelveli-Quilon Express and it was the longest as it had a couple of Medical Relief vans attached next to the locomotive

We approach Tenkasi Junction. This is where the newly laid BG line starts and goes to Madurai.

We arrive at Tenkasi Junction. After Sengottai speeds were close to 70 Kmph. Another thing i missed mentioning in aprevious photograph was the board that said 30 Kmph during day time and 28 Kmph at night for the ghat sector

Paddy fields are all thats there on the Sengottai-Tirunelveli run. If its the romance of traveling by MG; this is it.
