I suppose the Ganga also gets recharged just downstream of this point with water from the Jamuna, which looks lovely at Allahabad. Ironically the Jamuna itself could be mistaken for a drain at Delhi and Agra, but luckily it gets a lot of water from the ...

It is the dams and diversion of waters in the canals which has made Ganga like this at this place, but after Ghaghra and Son merger at Chapra, it becomes massive.
