Silghat Town's code SHTT reminds me of French Connection, UK. Bypassed & forgotten for more than 20 years after the Tezpur bridge was built in 1985 and the MG line mothballed a little later, Silghat is seeing something of a revival these days. Though this picture was taken in Jan '08, BG services only began in April '09. The gent seemingly goose stepping in front of the station house is my father.
