I arrived at Murkongselek one cold January afternoon after steaming upstream on the Brahmaputra/Siang from Dibrugarh for several hours. And proceeded to take a series of rather ordinary pictures, of which this is the best. The station is on the edge of a town called Jonai and the railway ends here because the Arunachal border is only 2 km away. ()
