The finest electric locos in IR. Great looks, great power, good maintenance. Way to go ELS,VSKP. Keep up the good work and hope we get to see these locos in service for years to come.

Ooh la la...something tells me this is a prelude for more to come :-)

Apu these are very much dual cab locos. Just that one side has one grille and the other has two. You just can't see the rear cab of the trailing loco due to the camera angle. Having a single cab would defeat the purpose of having a vestibule door :-)

Are these single cab locos? The two locos have different styles of grills.

I am sorry, this set is 6A. We have also seen 6C. 26023 and 26049 in Koraput!!!

Jimmy, This set of 6C (26000 & 26002) was spotted by me in February,2009 while travelling by 2VK. Mr.Kamesh had put up that photograph on the Gallery.

One of the best DC motor Locos that IR never had in large enough numbers. Its wonderful to see these giants doing their duties so gracefully. I suppose these were the last locos to employ thyristor chopper technology.

WAG-6As always had "half" doors in the front. It is good to see these locos still doing their duties.

Buffers are missing too........ Which shed these belongs to? VKSP?

Didn't the WAG-6A have full-sized doors in the front, like the WAG-6Cs? The front of this loco somehow looks very odd...has it been modified?

A rather sophisticated piece of kit...Has fantastic slip control.

Undoubtedly one of the rarest locomotives in IR today! Thanks for sharing.

Wow, WAG 6A's still going strong? Great to see a pic of this lovely beast after so long! Do they have two seperate headlights? Is there another pic showing the wheel arrangement clearly?
