Karan, there is a service of DHR in Darjeeling-Batasia Loop-Ghoom-Darjeeling section which is regularly done by steam locos.

OK, if disgusting seems like a strong word, I still say it is unfair on the part of IR. Thousands of tourists will read about "World Heritage" DHR and its legendary steam locos (Wikipedia article shows all steam locos only) and when they arrive you give...

This is disgusting stuff. You get your railway included in World Heritage sites and then replace the steam loco with dull looking diesels. Not done.
