This had confused me during my first visit to the city. My Ranakpur Express suddenly pulled into this station before time and to confirm if this is the REAL Jodhpur or a small namesake town, I asked co-passengers if this is indeed "THE JODHPUR JUNCTION"...
This had confused me during my first visit to the city. My Ranakpur Express suddenly pulled into this station before time and to confirm if this is the REAL Jodhpur or a small namesake town, I asked co-passengers if this is indeed "THE JODHPUR JUNCTION" and they gave me a blank stare! Later I realized it is NOT a "junction".

For all those who are confused over the J word : Please note that Jodhpur is NOT a junction. Rai ka Bag Palace is, and on the other side it is Luni.
