My Qualis waits beside Erode WDM-2 #18236 as the latter awaits its signal. The loco driver and his assistant are enjoying tea from a nearby tea stall. This may be the only Erode loco with original Alco dynamic brake vents with three partitions. DLW-built ones have two. Near Ernakulam Jn, 2005-05-26. Jimmy Jose.
