The mysterious and much discussed twins-erstwhile WCM6 class DC locomotives of Kalyan shed and now converted to work on 25KV AC by ELW-BSL.While both locos are now completely fit for AC operation,this loco #20188 is lying idle at the shed and collecting dust and cobwebs because of some interdepartmental dispute,while the second loco #20187 is relegated to shunting duties in the loco shed yard.

Despite being converted to AC, the name WCM-6 remains intact. Strange!

Interesting that the locos seem to have been transferred to BSL shed (going by the markings) and the 'C' continues in its class type. Great set of pics btw - could the photographer please identify him or her self?
