The mysterious and much discussed twins-erstwhile WCM6 class DC locomotives of Kalyan shed and now converted to work on 25KV AC by ELW-BSL.While both locos are now completely fit for AC operation,this loco #20188 is lying idle at the shed and collecting dust and cobwebs because of some interdepartmental dispute,while the second loco #20187 is relegated to shunting duties in the loco shed yard.

Despite being converted to AC, the name WCM-6 remains intact. Strange!
