Anyway the assistant has much more leg room than the chief. Note the horn lever changing to three-phase type from the old piano type buttons. A mysterious lever just next to the horn lever. In all lots of changes from even the 226xx series itself, forget the older ones.

That lever pointing downwards which is next to the white PVC tank ( which contains water that is sprayed on the wind shield) is used to isolate the front BP and FP angle valves. This needs to be done incase they are damaged due to cattle run over.

That happens to be an ejactor lever. Unauthorised people are hurled out of the loco when that lever is operated !

Hmmm...quite interesting, so then what will happen if I pull the liver facing downward near the tank at 110 kmph.
