Kalyan WDM2s #18251 and #18259 climb the Bhore ghat with a brake van special. The "rake" is ably pushed from the rear by three Kalyan WCG2s #20122, #20137 and #20130. The brake vans are detached from freight trains at Karjat as they are known to easily derail when sandwiched between a heavy, recalcitrant rake in the front and the massive push of these bankers from the rear. Such specials trains are used to move the brake vans from Karjat to Lonavala, so that they may be reattached to the southbound freighters.
The triple bankers have two assistant drivers (note the two green flags in the rearmost WCG2) - to share the workload of looking after three noisy but powerful locomotives. Monkey Hill, 19th January 2008.

great posting...17800 HP power in total for 2 caboose...but still my doubt remains why do such a meagre load need this much of power which not even requires a WDS4??
