WDM-2 and Variants

An unsual loco link for a rarely seen train. The Bhavnagar-Kakinada express enters Surat behind a Katni diesel. WDM2 16751 does the honours. Meanwhile, the 'janta' at Surat decides to ignore the approaching train and saunter across the tracks.

The diesel beast paints the Uruli outer skyline grey with smoke as it leads the Chennai-Mumbai express towards Pune. This seems to be an off-link as this train usually gets a diesel from the Kazipet shed.

Ludhiana WDM2 18799, in tow with Amritsar-Haridwar Jan Shatabdi Express, fills the ambience with light smoke (and that nice diesel exhaust smell) while zipping through Phillaur Jn.
