As BGKT WDP4B #40073 pruodly curved out of Delhi Cantt station with a quite bulky rake of Double decker , a mishap took place whit the train. A blast sound came out of the motors while the coaches were in motion in front of my eyes . The LP has to apply emergency brakes at a speed of about 30-40kmph. The the LP and ALP came running towards that coach.. more officials came from the station. The coach was inspected by the officials and finally today's trial run till Jaipur being Cancelled. Agreed Shanx that this was a trial run but is there a difference of Train working rules on regular runs & trial runs?? I'm not aware of any such rule, so can you please provide a link for the same.

I think the IR Train Working Rules prevent the loco from being left unattended while on active service with a rake. It should be manned by atleast one of the crew!!!
