A Handoperated Crane, YAM1 21909 and a Steam Loco pose for a group pic.
The YAM1 and YP pose. I remembered Weggi's picture -- http://irfca.org/gallery/Steam/weggie1986/madras-egmore-old-and-new.jpg.html when I clicked this pic.
Builders Plate of the YAM1. "The Japanese Group" Hitachi, Mitsubishi and Toshiba. Year of Manufacture - 1964.
The pantos, cow catcher etc. to be added. Lot of work required in re-painting and making this loco appear ok.
The Dashboard of the YAM1. I tried to close the DJ but sadly, it did'nt. The lower set of switches were broken from inside.
The speedo had an unique setting for speed restriction. "G" for 50 kmph for Goods and "P" for 75 kmph for Passenger.
