This father and son duo were covering the run of the MRVC model train by walking with it. The little boy "Balaji" did not let his eyes move out of the model train. I was so pleased to see lot of railfans in making.
The starter at Platform 1 of Chennai Central. A WAPX loco waits with a single Garib Rath coach for the starter to turn off.
I was impressed with this gate signal. The gate was open for traffic and the MRVC stopped perfectly - respecting the signal. All the train movements and signals are interlocked and automatic. This does not require human intervention (except when derailmen
The approach to the MAS platforms has this X crossing. The PF1 Home has the "Caution" aspect and the MAS Home has the "Caution with Crossing" aspect. I loved the sight of this.
This is yet another beauty still fresh in my memory. You can see the MRVC rake was just clearing the PF1. Meanwhile, the GR waits at the distant home signal.
What a respect this "Red" aspect commands. It makes the tonnes of steel to wait until it changes to green.
"Thrisoolam" - the suburban station opposite to the Chennai Airport is modelled here.
Another crossing. This time the Jan Shatabdi with a loco 22208 moves into PF2 while the MRVC waits at the home. See the signals showing the Crossing aspect in tandem.
