HGS class 2-8-0 locomotive No. 2298 is seen hauling a goods train making its way through the Bolan Pass in 1930. This locomotive was built by Vulcan Foundry in 1923. It was being driven by my father Louis Phillip Hughes when he was stationed in Quetta, Baluchistan. (Hal Richard Hughes)
