Forgot to mention - in one of the videos on Swaran's site (Grandtrunk Express), a CNB WAG7 also has the red markers on in the front.

Yes, it was red. No discolouration. You can compare it with the red signal in the distance. Even I was puzzled.

Is the marker color correct ? I thot red was used as tail marker.
