Curver's delight: The 110-KM Rourkela-Barsua route is a visual delight for anyone who loves rail-curves. Unfortunately, this 3-coach passenger/DMU is the only train that runs on this route, one trip a day. Rourkela-Barsua route, 2005-10-11. Bizzy Mishra.

If you see the red powder on the train tracks, that should give the answer. It is most likely an iron ore route for Rourkela Steel Plant from Barsua mines.

OOPS I think you got it wrong Ramesh. By one train, I meant one "passenger" train. BTW you should see the rush of BOXN freighters here!

Why IR invested in this route which has only one train - with 3 car coache - only one trip a day?
