This is what http://www.irfca.org/faq/faq-signal3.html says: A double-red colour-light signal, permanently lit, is sometimes used to indicate the shunting limit on a particular line..(where it is)...especially important that no trains accidentally pass it -- e.g., at busy suburban stations with many automatic and semi-automatic signals which can normally be passed after halting for a specified time, hence a single red signal cannot be used. Normally the double-red signal also carries a board that says 'STOP'.

This is the ADI end of Udaipur Jn where all the BG tracks end. Only the MG tracks continue south from that point on. One could think of it as a 'dead end' kind of signal I guess.

Its looking like double yellow's...i saw a pic clicked by aravind in his fotopic gallery showing double red. The URL is http://tinyurl.com/2vtps9. But still why all signals are showing same signal is a mystery.
