The road cum rail bridge on the Kathakal River, Assam. The road is NH 54 to Aizawl via Silchar. When I first saw it in Nov 2003 I was outraged that a busy NH should have such poor infrastructure. This photo was taken by Bharat Vohra in July 2005 when the new BG capable bridge looked well on the road to completion. Can't believe they took a year more to complete it!
