Dr. Mulky, you may want to have a look at this image (ex WDM 2C 14049) http://www.irfca.org/gallery/ShowcaseArchives/ShowcaseArchives-2/venadwreblt2Cjjose.jpg.html. No doubt this remarkably reassembles to a bill counter.

Thanks for the explanation Pawan. Having a closer look at 14049, I feel it resembles a wise owl with wide eyes set in a flat face.

@Dr Mulky - More than a bill counter (A device which counts bills/notes), I think the resemblance of 14049 in its old build (two flat windshield panes with one thin windshield strip in between the two) is being compared to a normal "payment center"...

Having always sent my assistants to pay my electricity bills, and now paying them online, I fail to find the resemblance to an Electricity Bill Counter, either of 14046 or 14049.
