The spot is near the south bank of the 2nd oldest South Vasai Creek bridge, just about 1.5 km north of Bhayandar station (43 km from CCG). The bridge itself is about 2.7 km in length (both bridges total, including Panju island). Vasai Road station is approx. 5 km from the north bank of the bridge, so VSP's calculation is correct.

The KM-marker indicates "44", which means, this spot should be 8Kms. short of Vasai Road which is at "52".
