One of the best example to describe the change of era. This is Karha River Bridge near Jejuri, here two via ducts can be seen, the bridge on the back of BG line is the old MG alignment, now the villagers from near by village like Kothale, Belser use this as a path to navigate from one side to the other. Seen here is Dippy hauled 11030 up Kolhapur CSTM Koyna Express, no single drop of water in the river due to extreme climatic conditions, Karha river Bridge Jejuri. (Ashwin Rao )
