Feb 5 2012. The day of the conversion of WR Mumbai to 25KV AC. 12925 Paschim Express headed by BL WCAM-2P #21861 "Balwant" gets ready for departure from Borivali. The train was hauled by a GOC WDP-3A from BDTS to BVI because of the power block.

Now, even ADI bound trains are getting WAPx. Goodbye WCAM1/2 for all the priceless memories, you will never be forgotten.. :)

Agree with you Sachin. The WCAM-1s and 2s will be sorely missed. I have mixed feelings regarding these AC locos. After being used to seeing these workhorses (WCAMx) for my entire life, it feels extremely weird to suddenly see the WAPs in Mumbai. Somehow...
