If we notice carefully, the SUB is still lower than the UB of the main bay. I think these berths would be more acceptable if brought to the same level as the berths in the main bay.. Still, the sitting comfort is non-existant.

Akshay, i think Karan meant that he booked his tickets in 3A and in Side Lower (SL) and not sleeper!!!

Horrible. Where is the side middle berth passenger supposed to sit? BTW, Karan, do not fear. This is a 3A coach & your reservation is of SL!!

IR has gone blind in making money with comfort gone for a toss. Certainly if this design is implemented, many people will upgrade to 2A or even airlines.

Ugh, yet another reason to avoid 3AC! I think it's totally unfair to the person who gets alloted the middle berth.

Very bad..already the Side berths are a nuisance for the tall people, now it will become a nuisance for the well built ones too!!
