Photographs of the new LHB (formerly Alstom) coaches. The first of these were received by IR in 2000 and were used for the Swarna Shatabdi. Since then, RCF has undertaken production of more of these light-weight, ergonomically designed coaches.

For the first time i have come across a 2 tier AC coach quite smaller in length as compared to its counterpart and which can accomodate, i repeat which can accomodate 46 persons. The said coach was stabled at BSR_29.09.2010 (Dhirendra Maurya)
