We visit a tiny flag station, Goregaon Road (GNO) located between Veer and Mangaon. The station is quite far from the town and is accessible only by tiny village roads. We would always cherish the memory of this place – we got so many good photo opportunities. The GNO platform was the unlikely place where the three of us had a small afternoon nap sitting propped up against the blue fence, a nap that would magically rejuvenate our flagging, exhausted enthusiasm.
The local janata told us that the ‘Army’ was due to come in the down direction – they were referring to the RMV – the Remote Maintenance Vehicle. (Apurva)
