We crack open the day with the sighting of the Thiruvananthapuram (TVC) bound 2432 Down Rajdhani. The train was on time despite the presence of thick morning fog. Lalam was tracking the trend of this train for a few days on the KR website and was predicting that it would be late. We were depending on this delay to get us into a good location for an early morning photoshoot.
The very first level crossing after Mangaon was found to be closed and we scrambled out of the taxi before you could say ‘Rajdhani’ ….. (Lalam)
