Wonderful slide showing the new kids...I love the details of one of the -Bo- bogies of the WAP 5 ( ABB Ltd )...I would love to see more slides of this type

strangely enough, we still mention the WAP5 as the 'new' kid whereas it is almost as old as the WAP4!! Note the solid yellow bands of the WAP1/4 instead of the normal cream.

can anyone tell the shed of WAP 4 in the picture. it seems to be a new logo.. the wap 4 is not of ED shed and only other shed has logo on its side LGD.. so kindly confirm the shed of wap 4.. also wap 7 is of which shed GMO/GZB

From commercial point of view, WAP-4 has been in service longer than WAP-5, 7. Hence WAP-4 titled as "old boy".
