I don't know for what purpose he had put the watermark in the centre. But IMO it's a good practice because there are many people who steal others' photos and upload them elsewhere without giving credits. So if the watermark is put int he bottom, they do crop the pic to remove the watermark!

Having experienced stealing of pics before, I put the watermark. More so because this is the first spotting of BRC WAP-5 at BCT.

Additionally, this picture is significant only from a statistical/records point of view. It has no photographic beauty or anything which would get spoilt by a watermark. If you observe my other recent pics, they have watermark in the corner itself.

I whole-heartedly agree with you Akshay and am with you, in this matter. Just a small request - if you could email me this pic, as I have the habit of downloading almost each and every pic of IR from anywhere and everywhere :-)
