Ah! A classic!!

Another gem from Harsh. It is good that they thought of making provision for pedestrian to cross the river. Is the white strip near the base of column, meant for marking high flood levels?

What an amazing shot. Looking at the pattern of beams, this is probably NOT the same viaduct seen in Harish's pic .

Another classic!
@ Apurva Sir: This is the same bridge. This picture was shot from the other side of the bridge. Here the banker is going downhill to Kalakund, whereas in Harish's picture, the loco was pushing the consist up.

This is not the same bridge as in Harish Kumar's picture as can be noted by the absence of handrail on the top deck and the different girder patterns(X Vs V) in the middle in latter. I posted this picture to closely depict the walkway arrangement below the track level and the step ladder access to the upper deck. This was taken in Jan. 1993.

Note the person drying his clothes at the river bed.

Great shot Harsh! Are you sure though that the walkway below is for pedestrians? Given that the bridge already has a catwalk on it, I would imagine the walkway below is for maintenance purposes.
