Any idea why "SCR" as well as "BZA" written on the loco? Also, any idea why is it written "4p/6p"? - Sandeep Bhate.

BZA refers to the home shed of this loco - Vijayawada and SCR refers to the owning railway - South Central Rly. The 4p/6p refers to special gearing ratios on the loco.

Just a wild guess.. Going by the presense of 3-odd SL coaches on this train, this must be the BZA-Rayagada Passenger

WAM-4 is the loco class; the first "P" is to indicate that it is for passenger haulage only; the "6P" is to indicate that all six traction motors are permanently connected in parallel.
