Also note - no buffers on a WAG-5. Is this a first?

Agree about the headlight comment. But there seem to be quite a few WAM4s and WAG5s with such older fashioned headlights on this KK line, observe the earlier pics - Sandeep Bhate.

the curves on the KK line are very sharp , the buffers are removed from the WAG5s as they can get locked with each other due to the sharp angle of the turn . For WAG6s this is not applicable as the distance between the locos after coupling is greater

None of the VSKP WAG5's had buffers on them! Only the WAG6's as Vikas pointed out. There are no WAM4's to be found on this line.

not the leading vskp wag 5e. its headlight is on and is of older fashion prevalent on ir locos some 4-5 years back.. infact these headlights are becoming rare and its a real fortune to see these headlights... any reasons why not replaced with twin beam headlamps .. ???
