The last loco was dead but this was the only time we spotted 4 locos in a consist (dead or alive!). All locos are WAG5's. The earlier WAG5's had identical shells as those of WAM4's - that of ventilator grills seperated by port holes. Later WAG5's had grills running along the length of the loco.

any special sort of couplers on these rakes ? Three loco hauling power certainly must increase coupler fracture rate in this section. When loco are mued together max starting current is restricted to 700 AMPS per loco in case of twins.
