Eeww! This is so bad! If SGUJ wanted to try a new livery, there are so many WDP-4s to experiment on, what was the need to spoil "Baaz" which had the most beautiful livery on a diesel loco in India! Common sense and aesthetics has really gone to the dogs on IR off late :(

I might not be aesthetic enough but I still find it as attractive except for the unique front cab shape being lost due it being rebuilt. Which is natural cos our regular DP4s and DG4s do not have the erstwhile Baaz shape infrastructure so when it was POH'ed it got our regular shape

What a shame. The long hood sides are okay, resemble some US diesel. The SHF and LHF have been ruined :( And weird - IR shed folks remove the alanting whiskers from Deemers (which looked good with them) and put them on dippys. How unbelievably unaesthetic.

This is a downright insult to the creative genius who designed the earlier blue-orange livery for the Baaz. It was truly the most loved livery amongst all diesels in India. As others have mentioned, this is as unattractive as unattractive can get!

Do EMD locos undergo POH??
This looks totally disgusting I wonder whose idea it was to rebuild this loco.I must say we cannot find such an attractive and Charming looking loco that we saw in WDP4 20012 'BAAZ'.I also do not see 'BAAZ' written anywhere on this loco.I cannot even call this loco as 'BAAZ'

The colour could have been a little lighter. Otherwise it is very good. It is fine to try out new colours. Let's wait and watch.

My god, terrible livery. So sad. Why did they redisgn this majestic loco. Feel so depressed! The old livery was the best on IR. The person who designed Baaz is none other than Sr. S. Dhasrathy, Member Mechanic. He had flaggedoff the loco on the last day of his job with IR.
