Dr. Rao, The GR normally runs via Kottayam. But due to the landslide blocking the line some days ago, many trains were diverted via Alappuzha.

Moreover, the line via KTYM is blocked during day time timm 13 Oct due to changing of girders at a bridge near Kottayam
