Thanks for uploading the group photo. Couldn't attend DQ birthday on 01JUN since it was a weekday, but the journey is one and the same and great too 365 days in a year. 100kms (CST - KJT) was done in 90 minutes at average speed of 67kph that day.

Which means DQ was late by 7 minutes to reach KJT - As per TT on indianrail.gov.in, the scheduled arrival is 18:33 and dep is 18:35

Correct Abhishek. We came to a halt at KJT at 18:40hrs due to TSR's at Mulund, Parsik Tunnel, Kopar, Dombivli, Vithalwadi and Neral Jn too.

Arzan in addition- PSRs of 65 each at VVH and VK, PSR of 80 at TNA, and 25 through KYN!

@Abhishek :- Deccan Queen has a heavy slack from Lonavala to Shivajinagar in down direction. So even if Deccan Queen leaves Karjat at or around 18:50 hrs i.e. 17 mins late , it reaches Shivajinagar on time or before time in some cases.

@ Ranjeet :- You left out PSR's of 60 kmph from Sandhurst to Byculla and also a PSR of 80 kmph at Parel , PSR of Ambernath 95 kmph and the PSR of Badlapur 85 and 90 kmph respectively.

If a train reaches late, PSR's are not to be included. A time table is made considering amount of PSR's on the Mumbai - Pune route. It is the amount of TSR's which affect the running schedule. Also the 17:00hrs Ambarnath double fast emu is a mrvc mow and we received green signal right till Karjat. We must also appreciate the manner in which 2127 Intercity express express manages to cover a more difficult schedule of 100kms in 90 minutes with additional halts of Dadar and Thane too.
