this train might be trailing the Garib Rath from BRC..

Posted by Anamitra Ghatak on 2010 Jun 29 11:09:30 +0000

Anamitra, 4 out of 7 days in a week, 2952 reaches Mumbai Central 30 minutes late. Whenever it's late, my emu gets overtaken between Elphinstone Road and Mahalaxmi. So the question of trailing doesn't arise. Dee Bdts Garibrath takes the seperate Bvi - Bdts line from BVI. 2952 trails emu's and not Gr.

Does it pass through the 5th line, overtaking the EMU?

Posted by Abhishek Risbud on 2010 Jun 29 12:29:24 +0000

Abhishek, between Dadar and Mahalaxmi, 2952 has always overtaken my emu on the 4th line since Valsad Bct Passenger uses the 5th line whether running right time or 10 minutes late.

Posted by Arzan Kotval on 2010 Jun 29 12:34:57 +0000

@ Arzan - Got it.

However, 2952 also uses the STA line between BVI-ADH, instead of trailing EMUs. I had this experience and heard it from couple more.
