Wonderful!! But why is it that its taking the third line? Was the mid line busy?

Posted by Bhushan Kale on 2010 Jun 29 05:32:02 +0000

@Bhushan: The Monekey Hill cabin staff we talked with called the Nagnath line as "main line" for downhill trains. Ashish or Apurva sir can throw more light on this.
By the way, I have travelled twice by CBE-LTT and both times it took Nagnath line.

@ Bhushan in the morning traffic 6 days out of 7 the 1014 takes the Third Line. Other trains regularly using the third line are 1024 and 7032. AFAIK all the other morning trains like 1010 , 2124 , 2126 , 1042 take the MID LINE down the ghats.

Awesome capture! "Picture of the year" for me! All three lines of Bhore Ghat plus the Catch siding. Simply superb!

Hey karan. This pic is Priceless. In addition to the stunning monsoon beauty of this place, one more thing to observe is the small shades of sunlight, falling on some patches. Looks like, someone is flashing a powerful floodlight, on the hills, while remaining portions are shadowed by clouds. Just too good man !!!
