This system is still followed on most of the small stations. Appreciate the skill of the khalashi to get typical tone from the striking.

WOuld this station be the dis-embarkation point for the Daulatabad fort (Deogiri ) ?

Dear Shikhar Parjanji, yes this is the very station where one has to alight in order to see the daulatabad fort.
