Is IR is painting many of the BOXN rakes blue? Is it just a change in livery or a slightly different wagon class? They look like the older BOXN wagons. I spotted a blue BOXN coal train coming from CHTS the other day, with ED WDG3A twins in front and an ERS WDM 3A banker. The rake looked very nice with the blue ED WDG 3A twins. Nice pic by the way, no electric poles and many semaphores!

Jimmy, I think Shanx or Alok had mentioned in one of the photos that the blue BOXN are stainless steel wagons. Did you notice this difference?

Nice image. Like the sharp curvature.

My observation regarding the blue wagons is that they have the standard capacities of near about 70, 30, 20, which is also same in old BOXNs. Also most of these blue wagons observed by me were new and maximum belonged to ECR and SECR. I will get a close-up shot in some days for sure.

Great semaphore territory. But, I do see a small pit for a foundation for a MACL. The semaphores are on the way out.

Great shot.
