Chhindwara has the only high level platform for NG in the entire IR.

@Apurva - not entirely true. I know a few others that did/do - Dabhoi and Pratapnagar to name a few.

Bharat - I was told by the station master of Chhindwara about the special platform. Maybe he was not aware of the NG elsewhere, maybe this is the tallest 'high level' platform while others are somewhat below this...

Apu sir, you are right. This looks like a proper high level platform where one can directly get into the coach without requiring to "climb" any steps. There are/were "high level" platforms at Dabhoi but they were of medium height as far as I remember i.e. not ground level but not exactly door level.
