Nice sht from a rarely covered location. Complete desolation all around - not a single person is is visible anywhere.

A nice picture. Dharwad station has seen a lot of changes over the past two years. New lines are being laid since SWR has decided to terminate a few trains at Dharwad instead of Hubli.
The crew don't seem to be in the train. It is possible that they asked for relief and took the Miraj- Hubli passenger to Hubli. The train is now probably waiting for a crew to take the rake to Hospet.

Reminds you of the long freighters in the outbacks of Australia. The dust on the windscreen and clear blue sky completes the picture.

Great Pic. Is the station outside the city?

KKK, the station is within the city limits, but the surroundings are a little arid and dry. http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=15.4402004&lon=75.0064301&z=18&l=0&m=s&v=9
