Very beautiful finishing & livery. Feeling as if these cuties have taken re-birth !!! I really fail to understand why we Indians are given a separate treatment in providing world class finished products when our service providers in India can do so??.. Compare this beautiful work with the MRVC EMUs, and many more..on IR...

The loco has a CBC and these strange twin vacuum brake hoses. The intended duties for these locos could include hauling rolling stock whose brake connections are on one side rather on the central axis.

Excellent body / paint finish?? I can clearly see patches of dark / light blue paint on the loco face and sides? Or am I tripping on LSD?

Whats the problem with DLW? Why can't they paint our locos in this manner or why can't GOC give this finish to our locos when they undergo POH, why the poor quality finish on our dear old hardworking locos. Are the railways trying act stupid by doing a hopeless job on our locos and giving export locos such a fine finish.
Come on guys give a good impression in your own country first and then think about the export locos, after all how many crores are the export locos going to earn.

@ Shashanka: The different shades of blue is because of the shrink wrapper. On looking closer, there's more of the wrapper thats coming out.
