My compliments to Ashwin for having taken the efforts to reach such difficult and inaccessible places. For those unfamiliar with the area - the (descending) train is on the 3rd line of Bhore ghats, and the loco is nearly at the Nagnath cabin. The Nagnath catch siding can be seen above the locomotive rising into the second peak in the picture. Here is the satellite view of the area.

Excellent Shot. I had the privilege of trekking on the Nagnath catch siding and going to the other side through the service tunnel in April,2009.

To elaborate more , the photo is taken from a temple on mountain top and the name of the temple is Gambhirnath Guffa as indicated by the name of the file. The mountain on which the temple is present is the divider of both , the nagnath and the Thakurwadi lines. You can come up the mountains right from a weak walk way just before Thakurwadi Distant through the jungles and you can get down from the otherside's walk way to the Nagnath line.

A very good view and a rather different perspective of the ghats.
