Very beautiful.....just wondering from where did you shoot this one since it appears to be from the sea?

Posted by Milind on 2009 Jul 02 03:55:39 +0000

Looks like it is some other train from RMM. This is an morning dep from RMM going by the direction of sunlight falling on the train. Boatmail leaves RMM in the evening. The light is falling from the eastern side.

Fantastic Image...Excellent composition!!

SR refers to it as Rameswaram exp, How ever most of us call it Boat Mail, I may be corrected..

Posted by Harish Vivek on 2009 Jul 02 09:27:30 +0000

@Vimlakar sir, I have been to RMM last year, please refer to my album of that trip http://www.irfca.org/gallery/Trips/south/pambanrmm/ The train is coming out of RMM and proceeding towards mainland. Sunlight is falling from western side, it goes well with time recorded in exif.

Super !

My dear friend Krupa Ratnam, this pic is taken from the road bridge which is on the western side of the rail bridge and the sunlight is falling on the train from the other side which is the eastern side. That is why i said this might be some other train. Boatmail leaves at 17.00 hrs and sethu leaves at 20.15 hrs from RMM.

beautiful shot.

Vimlakar, the road bridge is to the south of the rail bridge and the train is actually heading towards west and the sunlight is from the west. It is an evening shot
