Poor snap!!
The pic is very grainy and please try to reduce the burnt-out sky effect by using a higher aperture setting. Take pics using aperture priority.

Harsh, its a mirage which is giving you that effect probably...Avoid using such harsh language Harsh. Please stick to regulations.

Harsh please avoid making such critical comments on the server and as Kharad said stick to the 'regulations' .If you do want to make such comments I would request you to mail them on the personal E-Mail Id of whoever the pic maybe.

Also, there seems to have been some welding work done on the front of the loco as the 'D' of the WDM2 has been mutilated. There is also a grill on the left windscreen which is not there on the right one. The lifting hole on the right also seems to have been blocked. What could be the reason for this??

Harsh that is not a lifting hole. Its used to haul locos incase they are unable to move, and the coupler & related mechanism is damaged. I remember having clicked a snap of that portion which mentioned: "To be used in case of accident."
