This is supposed to be the PF-1 of SBC. The loco doesn't need a reversal as a KJM loco undertakes the rest of the journey from another end. So it is detached and rested a few meters away from the train!

The train on the other side may be the SBC-KCG-SBC Express. Please confirm!

why is that a/c coach on the left of the baldie noted as observation car??think thats some special purpose train...is it?

This must be the first snap of an ERS loco at SBC in the Gallery.

1. The Loco will go back on the same track and move to PF6 to take over the Chamundi Exp
2. The AC car on the right is part of an inspection rake... always stationed there. This coach has retractable / collapsible footsteps... a speciality

Yeah what Vibin 'KJM' said was absolutely correct. The observation car a.k.a. inspection car is stationed there, quite often cleaned!
